The most appropriate way to spend Christmas Eve was a trip to the Cloisters in New York with a good friend for company.

NYC: October and then the marathon
New York at Dusk from Central Park
New York never ceases to amaze. I've taken this view before and so have millions of others ... still breathtaking. It would be amazing to see all the images ever taken of a given spot compiled into one collection.

It gives me a kind of comfort to see these stones in Chelsea. I always have to rub one of them for luck. Joseph Beuys left a trace.
